Position SummaryThe Director of Franchise Sales will own the end-to-end franchise sales process, from lead qualification through deal close. This role is responsible for selling single-unit, multi-unit, and area development agreements while ensuring franchisee quality, brand alignment, and long-term system health.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage the full franchise sales lifecycle: lead intake, discovery calls, validation, FDD process, negotiation, and close
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual franchise sales targets
- Sell single-unit, multi-unit, and area development agreements
- Qualify inbound leads from brokers, franchise portals, referrals, and marketing channels
- Develop outbound strategies to attract high-quality franchise candidates
- Rigorously vet candidates for financial capability, operational readiness, and cultural fit
- Recruit, manage, and support franchise brokers and development partners
- Structure franchise agreements in coordination with legal, finance, and executive leadership
- Partner with operations and real estate teams to align development pace with system capacity
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Franchise units sold (gross and net)
- Close rate and sales cycle length
- Multi-unit vs single-unit mix
- Franchisee quality and early performance indicators
- Forecast accuracy and pipeline health
- 5+ years of experience in franchise sales or franchise development
- Proven track record of selling multi-unit and area development agreements
- Strong understanding of FDD and franchise compliance requirements
- Experience working with brokers, investors, and operator-franchisees
- Strong financial and communication skills
- Self-directed and comfortable in a fast-growth environment
- Strong CRM background required
- Must be able to travel twice a month within the U.S.
