We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave from January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and support middle school scholars in grades 58 during a critical stage of their academic journey.
Teachers at Amani create classroom environments that foster scholars understanding and appreciation of the role of mathematics in everyday life. You are the leader of your classroom, building strong relationships with students while pushing them to achieve the school mission. You will teach multiple math sections daily, lead an advisory group, support small group learning, and maintain regular communication with families.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, rigorous, and differentiated lessons using the provided curriculumUse formative and summative assessments to track student progress and adjust instructionAnalyze student data to inform and tailor instructional practicesMaintain Google Classroom and other online learning platformsCollaborate with colleagues in planning meetings, data discussions, and Professional Learning CommunitiesParticipate in weekly schoolwide professional developmentCreate a positive, structured, and productive classroom environment aligned to Amanis core valuesCommunicate effectively with students, families, and colleaguesSupport grade-level activities and school-wide eventsLocation and Commitments
