Role:

Morgan Foods, Inc. is seeking a Logistics – Shipping Analyst. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Austin, IN. The Shipping Analyst supports outbound logistics operations by coordinating shipment execution, staging, and inventory accuracy within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient product flow, while supporting operational goals across Shipping, Inventory, and Warehouse teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and log all loading activities for outbound shipments, including checking in carrier drivers, creating bills of lading, verifying shipment accuracy, and resolving shipment discrepancies
• Coordinate and log staging activities, including creating transfer orders and partnering with Inventory to resolve shortages and product issues
• Direct and coordinate forklift drivers for staging and loading activities while tracking progress in Excel and SAP systems
• Track and log drop trailer movements and shipment activity
• Ensure all outbound orders are complete, accurate, and ready for shipment
• Create and submit daily or nightly progress reports to leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Shipping, Inventory, and Warehouse teams to support operational flow
• Identify, research, and resolve shipment or inventory discrepancies in real time
• Support inventory-related activities as needed, including cycle counts, audits, pallet consolidation, and warehouse organization
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency in all shipping activities
• Perform back-up support for Inventory and Logistics functions as needed

Education/Training/Skills/Experience/Personal Attributes:

  1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  2. Shipping, logistics, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
  3. Clerical and/or administrative experience required
  4. Strong attention to detail with a high level of organization
  5. Intermediate computer skills required, including Microsoft Office (Excel required)
  6. SAP or ERP system experience preferred
  7. Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset
  8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  10. Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment

On-site position. The primary schedule for this role is M-F, second shift, with expected flexibility as needed to meet the training needs of the organization.

Local travel to affiliated locations may be required as needed. Minimal travel to Austin, IN.
