Patient Account Rep in Thibodaux, Louisiana at Thibodaux Regional Health System

Individual will be responsible for answering inquiries from patients or visitors in the Cashier Booth. This individual will also be responsible for the Cashier functions which includes posting payments on accounts, reconciling and preparing deposits from various areas (café, gift shop, fitness center, coffee shop, etc.), and organizing the financial hardships as they are received in the office or by mail.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous Experience:

1. Two years prior experience with business offices environment.
2. Insurance and collection experience is also desired.

Other Special Training/Skills:

1. Has a pleasant voice and good language skills.
2. Able to operate a computer.
3. Possesses basic mathematical skills.
