Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Musician Duties: Play musical instruments/guitar to create a relaxed, enjoyable, and engaging atmosphere for guests.Bartender Duties: Prepare and serve drinks following recipes, maintaining adherence to health and safety standards, and providing efficient and friendly service.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper condition.Greet members & guests warmly and professionally, using their names when possible, and provide an engaging experience throughout their visit.Anticipate member & guest needs, offering prompt and personalized service while following all Food & Beverage standards.Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, including checking IDs when necessary.Maintain par levels for beverages and bar supplies, ensuring restocking as needed.Perform inventory management, including ensuring proper storage and organization of garnishes, fresh fruit, juices, and other perishables.Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism, referring to the Beverage Supervisor or F&B Managers when necessary.Maintain effective communication with team members, providing feedback and supporting conflict resolution.Follow the opening and closing procedures for the bar and F&B operations.Assist in beverage inventory management and cost control.Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned by management.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in hospitality, especially bartending, with a passion for music. Must own a guitar and be able to perform a variety of music styles, focusing on acoustic performances.Must have a minimum of 1 year experience playing live music. Minimum of 1 year experience in bartending or customer service, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.Ability to balance the duties of both bartending and performing music.Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage and entertain guests.Organized, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional service.Handle member problems and complaints as professionally as possible or refer to F&B leadership for support.Assist with the setup, breakdown and service of all major club functions and events as needed.Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prior serving experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plusGood organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, attention to quality and detail.Enjoy working with Members, guests, and children.Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.

Soliciting gratuities from members or guests is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Gratuities include items such as cash, favors, gifts, tickets to events and other forms of non-financial compensation. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
