NOTE; THIS POSITION IS PART TIME AND ONLY WORKS ONE WEEK PER MONTH. WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED.

Purpose of the Job:

The Trayer / Runner is to assist the Production Operator in setting up the production area as well as maintaining the pace of the production line.

Job Functions and Performance Standards:

• Up to date knowledge on which run and client is being worked on.
• Pull clients’ inserts and special envelopes from designated areas and have them ready for the
• operator to set up
• Inserting tray tags into the postal trays
• Traying the correct mail into the correct postal tray while keeping the mail in numeric order
• Checking the statement packet for quality issues-envelope sealed, statement in packet correctly
• Assist operator in handling outsourced mail pieces
• Sleeve and strap trayed mail
• Build skids and shrink wrap trayed mail then place completed skids in correct area in the warehouse
• Return unused inserts back to designated areas
• Stock postal materials needed for your station
• Fill envelope stacker
• Empty and refit pinfeed bags
• Keep the inserter area to which you are assigned clean
• Clear empty skids from production area
• Additional duties/responsibilities not listed

Skillset:

• Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with a proven record of being able to perform duties at a fast pace
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask.
• Effective communicator
• Teachable
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours at times
