Deburr Operator

Job Description

Location: Greenville, MI Department: Deburr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for checking the result of automatic deburring processes

· Responsible for examining the appearance of machined wheels and report defects to process technician in time

· Other duties as assigned or designated

Gauging

· Use calibrated go/no-go gauge to check dimensions on a wheel.

· Decide whether wheel is in/out of tolerance.

· Visually inspect wheels.

· Rework any no conforming wheels

· Load back on conveyor

Skills and Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Some experience in Manufacturing required

· Walk in between machines for the majority of the shift

· Lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally

Physical Work Conditions

· Must be able to work in a hot environment.

· Must be able to lift varying weights

· Must be able to push or pull carts of wheels.

· Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.

· Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required.
