Job Description
Elementary School Teacher (Grades 1–5)
An Elementary School Teacher lays the foundation for students' academic success and lifelong learning. Teachers are considered lead educators and instructional leaders in the classroom and are responsible for teaching core subjects including Math, English Language Arts (ELA), Social Studies, and Science for students in grades 1 through 5.
Teachers use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including whole-group instruction, small group instruction, co-teaching, and individualized student support. Classroom teachers may receive support from paraprofessionals, special education teachers, and school administrators to ensure student success and a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience:
Experience teaching or working in an elementary classroom setting is strongly preferred.
Licenses or Certifications:
Relevant state teaching certification or eligibility for certification in areas such as:
Elementary Education (K–6)
Pre-K / Primary Education
Other applicable elementary teaching credentials

Implement a clear and consistent classroom management system that promotes positive behavior and strong character development.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to learn.
Build trust, respect, and meaningful relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
Contribute positively to the overall culture and mission of the school.
