Breakfast Host/Cook at Summit Hotel Mgmt – Kansas City, Missouri

Hampton Inn and Suites Country Club Plaza is currently hiring for Morning Breakfast/Meeting Room Host.

The regularly scheduled hours will be 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, however depending on the need, the hours might shift to 7:00 am - 3:00 pm on some occasions. Weekend work is required.

The primary focus of this position is to set up and maintain daily breakfast. Duties also include meeting room set up, stock treat shop, and attend to meeting rooms lunch/dinner.

The ideal candidate will have a hospitality background and enjoys interaction with our guests on a daily basis.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Stocking food and service-ware for breakfast buffets
• Clearing tables during the complimentary breakfast period
• Interacting with guests
• Assisting with set up, service, and take down of banquet room sets
• Assisting the department manager with daily tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Eagerness to learn and improve, ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Previous breakfast, hosting or banquet experience strongly preferred
• Food service/hospitality experience preferred
• Food Handler Certification preferred but not required

This position requires consistent attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
