Shift: 1st Shift

Job overview:
- Perform major and minor repairs as an experienced Senior Tanker Truck Technician in Charlotte.
- Work on tanker trailers and tractors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all repairs involving tanker trailers, including some major wreck repair.
- Complete tanker trailer inspections, diagnosis and work estimations.
- Make decisions on when to repair or replace tanker trailer components that prioritize safety and minimize costs.
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of tanker technician experience required. Associates degree in diesel technology or related field is preferred.
- Mastery of various diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment, etc.
- Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
- Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

- Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
- Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday - 5am Monday).
