The seasonal Transportation & Logistics Associate provides operational support for transportation services, parking operations, and logistics during peak seasons, special events, and other high-traffic periods. This position helps ensure the safe and efficient movement of guests, staff, and vehicles by supporting daily transportation activities, assisting with traffic flow and parking operations, conducting routine vehicle and equipment inspections, and contributing to a safe, organized, and welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting transportation, parking, and traffic operations during daily activities and special events
- Safely operating passenger vehicles and performing routine vehicle and equipment inspections
- Directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic and assisting guests with parking and wayfinding
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and offering assistance
- Following safety procedures and helping to maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and vehicles
- Assisting with event setup, breakdown, and other logistical support activities
- Completing required reports, logs, and inspection documentation
- Collaborating with team members to support efficient operations
This seasonal role will continue through January 10, 2027. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, is required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in transportation, parking operations, customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred (or the willingness to obtain as required)
- Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions, exercise sound judgment, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
The physical demands and work environment for this position include:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles and departmental equipment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working in transportation, parking, and event environments with vehicle traffic and large public gatherings
