This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial Wellness Consultant I based in the United States.
The Financial Wellness Consultant I will help organizations develop and implement holistic financial wellness programs tailored to their workforce, goals, culture, and benefits environment.
You will work closely with client stakeholders to understand their needs and translate those insights into practical financial wellness strategies and action plans.
The role combines client relationship management, program planning, implementation, education, and ongoing performance evaluation.
You will collaborate with Financial Advisors, Wealth Advisors, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality client experience.
By analyzing participant engagement, client feedback, and program activity, you will identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and strengthen employee engagement.

- Assist in developing and presenting financial wellness program recommendations and action plans that align with client objectives, participant needs, and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify relevant resources, educational topics, communication approaches, and engagement strategies that support each client’s financial wellness goals.
- Conduct client discovery meetings to understand organizational objectives, company culture, financial benefits offerings, and participant financial wellness needs.
- Gather and organize client information to support the development of tailored financial wellness strategies and actionable implementation plans.
- Coordinate program launch activities and support the implementation of financial wellness initiatives, ensuring resources are effectively integrated with existing benefits and communication strategies.
- Serve as a primary contact for assigned clients, maintaining regular communication and building trusted relationships that support successful program delivery and client satisfaction.
- Conduct periodic client reviews covering program activity, participant engagement metrics, feedback, and opportunities to enhance program effectiveness.
- Educate clients on available financial wellness resources, services, and best practices while helping stakeholders understand the value of financial wellness and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with Financial Advisors, Wealth Advisors, Financial Wellness Consultants, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure consistent service delivery and a strong client experience.
- Escalate complex client situations when appropriate and contribute to broader team initiatives that improve service delivery and program outcomes.
- You have a four-year college degree or equivalent professional experience.
- You bring at least 7 years of related industry experience, particularly in retirement plans and relationship management.
- You have experience with strategic planning, program development, and client engagement within financial services, with financial wellness experience being particularly valuable.
- You have a strong understanding of holistic financial wellness concepts and can translate them into practical, client-specific strategies.
- You are an innovative and solutions-oriented thinker who can identify opportunities for program growth and continuous improvement.
- You demonstrate an exceptional client-service mindset and a strong commitment to quality throughout program implementation and ongoing management.
- You have strong project management skills and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- You are skilled at building successful, collaborative, and trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- You communicate complex information clearly, accurately, concisely, and respectfully in both written and verbal formats.

- Annual compensation ranging from $85,000 to $125,000, depending on location and experience.
