Key DSO Dental Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key DSO Dental Account Manager based in United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity focused on building and expanding strategic relationships with Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) across the U.S.
You will own key accounts and serve as a trusted partner to national, regional, and mid-sized dental organizations.
The role combines provider network growth, contract negotiation, relationship management, and strategic account development.
You will work closely with internal teams to strengthen provider access, improve service, and maintain network quality and compliance.
Success requires strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to turn partnerships into sustainable business outcomes.
You will also monitor network performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate operational risks.
This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on dental provider access while working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Recruit and develop relationships with national, regional, and mid-sized Dental Support Organizations to expand and strengthen the dental provider network.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned DSO accounts, providing proactive support, resolving issues, and building long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate provider contracts, reimbursement arrangements, and network participation agreements while balancing provider relationships, growth objectives, and financial considerations.
  • Present the organization's value proposition, products, and network opportunities to DSO executives and other senior decision-makers.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing account-management activities designed to improve partner satisfaction, retention, service quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with provider relations, credentialing, compliance, operations, and network management teams to deliver a seamless experience for DSO partners.
  • Monitor provider network performance, directory accuracy, compliance requirements, and utilization trends, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support re-credentialing, delegated credentialing, quality reviews, audits, and other strategic network initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging DSO opportunities, translating insights into recommendations that support network growth.
  • Maintain accurate account records, reporting, contracts, and relationship documentation within CRM platforms and internal systems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in dental network recruitment, provider relations, provider contracting, direct sales, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with dental providers in a managed care environment.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating provider contracts, reimbursement arrangements, and network participation agreements.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with large dental groups, Dental Support Organizations, or other provider organizations.
  • Strong understanding of dental benefit products, including PPO and DHMO plans, as well as dental network operations, credentialing, re-credentialing, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex topics clearly.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, customer service, and issue-resolution capabilities.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Salesforce or comparable CRM experience is preferred.
  • Experience analyzing provider utilization trends and developing action plans is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Full-time employment with a salary range of $68,970–$113,310 USD, with final compensation based on education, experience, knowledge, abilities, and primary work location.
  • Potential eligibility for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation in addition to base salary.
  • Comprehensive benefits and resources designed to support physical, financial, and overall well-being.
  • Opportunities for skill-building, leadership development, professional growth, and community involvement.
  • Supportive and flexible work environment with opportunities to achieve professional and personal goals.
  • Inclusive workplace culture committed to equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations.
  • Occasional business travel, providing opportunities to engage directly with strategic partners and industry stakeholders.
