This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Public Sector Field Marketing Manager based in the United States.
This role leads field marketing strategy and demand generation across U.S. Federal and State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets, with additional support for Canada Public Sector.
You will serve as the primary marketing partner to Public Sector Sales leadership, connecting go-to-market priorities with measurable marketing programs.
The position combines field marketing, account-based marketing, events, sales enablement, campaign execution, and data-driven optimization.
You will translate public sector market insights into targeted initiatives designed to generate qualified pipeline, acquire customers, and accelerate revenue.
Working closely with sales, product marketing, content, digital, brand, and campaign teams, you will influence how marketing reaches government buyers and cybersecurity decision-makers.

- Develop and execute industry-specific field marketing plans aligned with U.S. Federal, SLED, and Canada Public Sector sales strategies to drive pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue.
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to Public Sector Sales leadership, translating business priorities and go-to-market strategies into targeted and measurable marketing programs.
- Provide public sector market insights and requirements to Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand, and Campaigns & Events teams to ensure initiatives address government buyer needs.
- Partner with Sales to analyze pipeline performance, identify opportunities and gaps, and develop initiatives that improve qualified leads, MQLs, and conversion rates.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of account-based marketing campaigns supporting new customer acquisition and growth within existing public sector accounts.
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, executive briefings, conferences, and other programs designed to generate qualified pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Customize and deploy broader enterprise marketing campaigns to meet the specific needs of Public Sector Sales teams and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate across Content Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Campaigns to strengthen visibility and strategic partnerships within the federal and public sector cybersecurity community.
- Drive registration and promotion for customized marketing programs and events targeting strategic public sector accounts.
- Measure, analyze, and report on campaign and event performance, providing actionable recommendations to improve effectiveness and return on investment.
- Support additional cross-functional marketing initiatives and projects as needed to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with strong expertise in field marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing, or sales enablement.
- Proven ability to develop, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through implementation.
- Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and strong execution in developing targeted programs that generate engagement and measurable business outcomes.
- Proven experience partnering closely with U.S. Federal Sales teams to support pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Federal procurement processes, government buying cycles, and public sector purchasing requirements.
- Experience supporting go-to-market strategies for U.S. Federal and/or SLED markets.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and the ability to leverage CRM data for marketing initiatives, analysis, and performance reporting.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret marketing data, measure campaign performance, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and influence business outcomes.
- Experience marketing cybersecurity, technology, SaaS, or professional education solutions to U.S. Federal agencies and/or SLED organizations is preferred.
- Experience developing ABM strategies for public sector customers is preferred.
- Familiarity with government contract vehicles, procurement channels, and public sector marketing best practices is a plus.
- Experience planning and executing executive briefings, government events, conferences, and industry trade shows is preferred.
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution is highly valued.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 OTE, comprised of base salary and bonus.
- Compensation varies based on geographic location, skills, and experience, with a focus on pay equity and transparency.
