- Collaborate with business development and capture teams to develop marketing initiatives aligned with strategic priorities and government customer objectives.
- Translate complex technologies, IT capabilities, and mission solutions into clear, compelling messaging and value propositions for government audiences.
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that strengthen brand positioning across digital, content, social media, and event channels.
- Manage website updates, content publishing, and digital experiences while identifying opportunities to improve performance and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, and SEO, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Plan and support conferences, industry events, and other marketing activities that strengthen market presence and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop differentiated thought leadership and content that communicates technical expertise and relevant mission capabilities.
- Partner with technical subject matter experts to transform complex information into accessible, persuasive marketing materials.
- Advise senior leaders and serve as a trusted communications partner on messaging, positioning, and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging, brand representation, and execution across marketing initiatives.
- Support marketing activities within a highly regulated and customer-facing government environment.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within national security, defense, government contracting, federal IT services, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing proactive marketing or communications strategies within large, complex organizations or government environments.
- Experience leveraging digital and social media platforms to support marketing and communications objectives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to advise senior leaders and operate as a trusted communications counselor.
- Knowledge of federal contracting, IT services, digital modernization, and government affairs.
- Strong strategic marketing skills combined with the ability to independently execute campaigns, content, and communications initiatives.
- Experience collaborating effectively with business development, capture, technical, leadership, and external stakeholder teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use marketing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Familiarity with UX fundamentals and digital experience best practices is preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or federal IT modernization programs is preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, customer-facing environment.
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail.
