  • Monitor vendor payment terms, payment cycles, and available discounts to support effective cash flow management.
  • Oversee customer credit management, including account aging, credit terms, and allowance for doubtful accounts, to minimize bad debt and improve collections.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations teams to investigate and resolve customer billing questions, payment discrepancies, and disputes.
  • Manage assigned general ledger accounts and month-end close activities related to the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Oversee accounting activities related to net sales, cash, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, accrued expenses, accrued inventory, and returns.
  • Support accurate accounting and reconciliation of warranty reserves, deferred system revenue, leases, and equity-related accounts.
  • Review accounting transactions, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to AP and AR team members, ensuring accounting activities are completed accurately and within established deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to support efficient accounting processes and resolve transaction-related issues.
  • Monitor AP and AR activities to identify discrepancies, processing delays, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the preparation of financial reporting information related to assigned general ledger accounts and accounting functions.
  • Assist in maintaining effective internal controls and compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Support accounting activities and cross-functional coordination within a manufacturing environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong background in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AP/AR best practices, cost accounting, and internal controls.
  • Experience managing general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting activities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Sales, Operations, and other departments.
  • Strong focus on customer and vendor relationship management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities, processes, and operational requirements.
  • Ability to work locally from Hyper's headquarters office.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required by business needs.
