Unit Overview: The Randallia ICU is a 12bed critical care unit located on the main floor of Parkview Randallia, providing care for patients with moderate to high acuity needs. The unit serves a mixed population of ICU and progressivelevel patients who require advanced monitoring, intensive medical management, and timely interventions for complex conditions. Care is delivered in a fastpaced environment by a collaborative team that includes nurses and patient care technicians, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, prioritization, and effective communication. The Randallia ICU supports a broad range of critical care needs while maintaining flexibility to manage patients across varying levels of acuity, ensuring safe, highquality, and patientcentered care.

Education

Must have a HS Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, the following requirements must be met: must be actively working towards high school diploma/GED and receive within 2 years of hire.

Licensure/Certification

Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred, but not required.

Other Qualifications

Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to attend mandatory training days week of start. New Hire Orientation (Monday – all day) and Patient Care Essentials/Epic (Tuesday-Thursday – all day).
