About The Job

Parry Labs is seeking an organized and dependable Human Resources Administrator to provide support to the Human Resources team. This is a support-level role focused on accurate data entry, document preparation, and day-to-day tasks that keep HR processes running smoothly across the department.

The HR Administrator will work under the direction of HR staff to help maintain employee records, assist with onboarding paperwork, and support general office and administrative functions within HR. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet with sensitive information, and comfortable following established processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with oversight of the HR inbox, including employee communications and responding to general inquiries.
  • Assist with the organization, coordination, and conducting of new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Enter and update employee information in the HRIS, including new hires, status changes, and other routine record updates, under the direction of HR staff. file and organize employee documents and maintain accurate, well-organized personnel files.
  • Support benefits enrollment tasks, such enrollment preparation and tracking submission deadlines, as directed by HR staff.
  • Assist with compiling timekeeping and new hire information for submission to payroll.
  • Help compile routine HR data and reports, such as headcount or training completion tracking, for review by HR staff.
  • Assist with maintaining I-9 documentation and other compliance recordkeeping, following established procedures.
  • Support the offboarding process by preparing standard exit paperwork, communications, and conducting exit interviews as directed.
  • Help prepare materials and handle logistics for HR-related events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times.
  • Perform Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role; HR experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Comfortable learning and working within an HRIS and standard office productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to follow established processes and manage routine tasks under supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from HR staff.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work on government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior exposure to HR administrative work, such as an internship, co-op, or HR support role.
  • Interest in supporting HR operations for a government contractor, defense, or aerospace organization.
  • Familiarity with basic recordkeeping practices related to employment documentation (e.g., I-9s).
  • Exposure to applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS platforms.
