Job Description

Director of Product Management, Clinical Data & Integrations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Product Management, Clinical Data & Integrations based in Canada.

This is a hands-on senior product leadership role focused on shaping the future of healthcare data and interoperability.
You will define the product vision and roadmap for integrating clinical, laboratory, proteomic, and consumer-health data into a longitudinal patient record.
The role combines strategic product thinking with deep execution, partner evaluation, discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional delivery.
You will turn complex integrations into scalable, reusable product capabilities rather than one-off technical connections.
Working closely with Clinical, Engineering, Data, AI, Privacy, Security, Legal, and external partners, you will translate complex healthcare data into meaningful patient value.
You will also establish the foundations for APIs, FHIR, HL7, identity, normalization, provenance, consent, and data-quality capabilities.
This is an opportunity to build a new product area from the ground up while contributing to a mission centered on proactive, patient-focused healthcare.

Accountabilities
  • Define the product vision, strategy, principles, and roadmap for incorporating clinical, laboratory, proteomic, and consumer-health data into a longitudinal health record.
  • Identify external data sources and use cases that offer meaningful patient and business value and determine where investment should be prioritized.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of blood, laboratory, and proteomics integrations with external partners.
  • Establish a scalable consumer-health integration strategy covering wearables, sleep, activity, cardiovascular data, and other connected-health platforms.
  • Partner with Clinical teams to ensure external health data is interpreted, contextualized, and surfaced responsibly to improve patient insights and guidance.
  • Work closely with Data, Engineering, and AI teams to create a coherent longitudinal patient record spanning imaging, laboratory, clinical, and consumer-health information.
  • Define product requirements for identity resolution, data normalization, provenance, quality, clinical meaning, and temporal context.
  • Build reusable interoperability and data-exchange capabilities, including API, FHIR, and HL7 patterns, to reduce the complexity and cost of future integrations.
  • Partner with Privacy, Legal, Security, Clinical, and Engineering teams to create rigorous and intuitive consent and data-sharing experiences that keep patients in control.
  • Evaluate prospective partnerships based on patient value, data quality, integration complexity, scalability, strategic alignment, and differentiation.
  • Establish product capabilities and platform foundations that can support future integrations rather than repeatedly creating bespoke solutions.
  • Translate complex technical and clinical capabilities into compelling user and patient value propositions.
  • Drive discovery, prioritization, execution, and stakeholder alignment while operating as the primary product leader for an emerging product area.
  • Build the foundation for a broader product organization over time through strong product practices, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, including significant ownership of complex technical, platform, data, or integration products.
  • Required: significant experience building products involving healthcare or clinical data.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrations across multiple organizations, systems, platforms, or data providers.
  • Strong product-level understanding of APIs, data platforms, schemas, identity resolution, data quality, and integration architecture.
  • Strongly preferred experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or related clinical-data exchange patterns.
  • Valuable experience with laboratory data, EHRs, diagnostics, genomics/proteomics, remote patient monitoring, wearable data, or adjacent healthcare-data modalities.
  • Proven ability to translate complex clinical and technical capabilities into clear, compelling patient or user value.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with Clinical, Engineering, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, and external partnership teams.
  • Strong strategic judgment and experience evaluating technology, data, and commercial partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reusable platform capabilities rather than repeatedly developing one-off integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and communicate complex subjects clearly.
  • Strong product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and execution capabilities.
  • Willingness to remain highly hands-on, personally driving strategy and execution while the product area and team are being established.
  • A pioneering mindset, strong ownership, bias toward action, intellectual curiosity, and resilience when navigating complex challenges.
  • A patient-first approach and genuine interest in using technology and data to improve healthcare outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where experimentation, disciplined execution, and long-term platform thinking are equally important.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Benefits
  • Base salary of $195,000–$210,000 CAD, depending on experience and geographic location.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, including mental-health coverage.
  • Flexible vacation policy with an emphasis on taking meaningful time away to recharge.
  • Free whole-body scans for eligible team members.
  • Access to RRSP and TFSA retirement savings plans for eligible Canadian employees, with immediate optional enrollment and no current employer matching contribution.
  • Growth and professional development opportunities with flexibility to shape your career path.
  • Regular opportunities for teams to connect, collaborate, and socialize.
  • Opportunity to work on technology and products designed to make a meaningful impact on people's health.
  • Inclusive, mission-driven environment focused on innovation, platform building, and patient outcomes.
  • Remote work opportunity within Canada.
