  • Manage donor lists and develop promotional materials, including advertisements, emails, flyers, social media content, and solicitation letters
  • Assist with larger fundraising initiatives, including Capital Campaign activities, as directed by the Director of Philanthropy
  • Research and identify grant funding opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective funders
  • Write, submit, and manage grant proposals and provide supporting documentation to prospective funders
  • Partner with Finance to ensure grant budgets and financial reports are accurate
  • Serve as the lead staff member for donor software and donor recordkeeping
  • Maintain accurate records of donor gifts and grants and ensure timely donation acknowledgments
  • Research and screen prospective donors and identify new opportunities for support
  • Develop and deliver clear reporting and analytics to track giving trends and fundraising opportunities
  • Build positive relationships with foundations, businesses, donors, and community leaders
  • Participate in speaking engagements and community activities that support Good Samaritan’s fundraising efforts
What we are looking for in an Annual Giving Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, including special event planning and grant management
  • Experience using social media for fundraising and brand awareness
  • Proficiency with fundraising databases, email, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with current and prospective donors and community partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
