Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our growing practice in the beautiful coastal community of Newport News, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive neonatal team while enjoying an exceptional quality of life in Virginia's scenic Tidewater region.
Practice at Mary Immaculate Hospital, a member of Bon Secours Mercy Health, one of the region's leading healthcare systems. The neonatal program is poised for growth, creating opportunities for professional development and future leadership involvement.
Opportunity Highlights
- Level IIIA NICU currently features 7 beds with newborn nursery coverage
- State of the art 13 bed NICU opening in 2028, supporting continued program growth and enhanced patient care
- Planned expansion to a 13-bed NICU, supporting continued program growth and enhanced patient care
- Collaborative team of 3 neonatologists and 2 NNPs
- Regional partnership with the Richmond Commonwealth Neonatology Practice
- Work alongside 12 neonatologists and 18 advanced practice providers across a 5-hospital network
- Primarily 24-hour shifts that provide schedule flexibility and work-life balance
