Sales Operations Support Representative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Operations Support Representative based in the United States.

This fully remote role supports insurance agents by providing responsive, accurate, and efficient sales operations assistance.
You will handle a variety of policy servicing, documentation, billing, and administrative requests.
The position combines customer service, insurance operations, data processing, and compliance-oriented tasks.
You will work closely with agents, carriers, and internal teams to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
Success requires strong organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
The role also offers opportunities to cross-train, develop broader insurance knowledge, and contribute to process improvements.
It is well suited to a service-oriented professional who enjoys collaborative, detail-focused work in a remote environment.

Accountabilities
  • Respond to phone, chat, and email inquiries, processing requests and resolving agency questions or concerns accurately and efficiently.

  • Create new and renewal insurance invoices and support day-to-day policy servicing activities.

  • Obtain, stamp, organize, and maintain documentation required by applicable states and insurance carriers.

  • Issue cancellation and non-renewal notices in accordance with state-specific requirements and established procedures.

  • Research and correct agency-request discrepancies, processing errors, and other operational issues.

  • Review documentation and information to determine compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal procedures.

  • Handle confidential customer and policy information with appropriate discretion and professionalism.

  • Partner with other departments, agents, and carriers to resolve issues and address operational needs.

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures and provide constructive feedback to leaders when processes or documentation could be improved.

  • Cross-train with peers and other departments to expand operational knowledge and strengthen team coverage.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment while consistently demonstrating accuracy, reliability, communication, and service excellence.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.

  • Three or more years of customer service or related experience is preferred.

  • General knowledge of insurance concepts, underwriting practices, and procedures is advantageous.

  • A General Lines Agent License is preferred.

  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple computer systems and data-processing procedures.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-through.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules and operational needs.

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exercise sound judgment.

  • Typing speed of 50+ words per minute is preferred.
