Job Description

America’s Floor Source is looking for a dependable, motivated Appointment Setter Specialist to connect with customers, understand their flooring needs, and schedule appointments with our flooring designers.

Our leads come from customers who have already requested information or expressed interest in flooring products and services. No cold calling.

America’s Floor Source is the 3rd largest flooring company in the United States, and our Contact Center plays an important role in creating a great first experience for our customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Handle inbound calls, emails, and chats from customers interested in flooring products and services.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to customer-requested leads.
  • Ask questions to understand the customer’s project, needs, and timeline.
  • Confidently guide interested customers toward scheduling an appointment with a flooring designer.
  • Follow an established contact cadence and consistently follow up with leads.
  • Address common customer questions and objections while keeping conversations natural and professional.
  • Accurately schedule, confirm, and document appointments.
  • Answer general incoming calls, gather customer information, document messages, and route callers to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain accurate notes in our CRM and scheduling systems so the next person helping the customer has the information they need.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Confidence making outbound follow-up calls and asking customers for the appointment.
  • A natural, professional approach to customer conversations.
  • Dependability and consistent follow-through.
  • Coachability and the ability to follow an established call process while still sounding conversational.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to confidently navigate multiple applications, browser tabs, CRM and scheduling systems, email, and phone software while accurately entering information during customer conversations.
  • Previous experience in call centers, customer service, appointment setting, inside sales, retail, telemarketing, or lead generation is preferred.
  • CRM or scheduling software experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $20–$23 per hour base pay
