OPEN POSITION:

Position: ER Tech
Department: ER
Location: Cass City, MI
Hours: Casual. Nights. 6:30 pm - 6:30 am. 1 shift per calendar week, every third weekend, every third holiday.
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring an ER Tech. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CENA, MA, EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P Certification, Paramedic License, relevant college course completion, or previous ERT experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous hospital experience as an ERT or completion of course for nursing assistant or EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P.
  • Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patients, family members, medical and hospital staff; ability to work as a team member.
  • Basic clinical evaluation skills are required for all age groups of patients serviced by the facility for which the individual may be involved in the patient care including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of professional nursing staff in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
