Location: Marysville, OH, USA
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday, 12:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Job overview:
Midwest Logistics Systems (MLS) is seeking an Operations Systems Coordinator in Marysville, OH to provide operational and systems support for different areas of the organization. The Operations Systems Coordinator will also support continuous improvements by coordinating system updates, partnering with software vendors and training associates.
Responsibilities:
- Assist onboarding and offboarding processes by setting up and deactivating driver profiles.
- Update and maintain DOT certification records.
- Monitor GPS tracking devices and resolve performance and connectivity issues.
- Ensure customer billing protocols are followed.
- Build, update and retire route configurations within dispatch systems.
- Identify and resolve EDI transmission errors.
- Generate operational and performance reports using various software.
- Work with software providers to test, validate and implement new systems.
- Provide training and ongoing support for internal systems to management, dispatchers and drivers.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience using dispatch, routing or fleet management software.
- Knowledge of EDI processes and transmission workflows.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of the trucking industry, including ELD systems, hours of service and CDL qualifications.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
