This role sits at the intersection of finance, engineering, and product strategy, turning complex operational data into clear financial insight that drives investment decisions. You will partner closely with technical and business leaders to understand how engineering, product, and infrastructure choices impact cost, efficiency, and growth. The position plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across R&D and G&A functions. You will help translate cloud spend, headcount, and vendor investments into actionable financial narratives. This is a highly analytical and strategic FP&A role where curiosity, business partnership, and data-driven thinking are essential. You will operate in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning for R&D and G&A functions
- Build and maintain financial models linking engineering, infrastructure, and operating costs to business outcomes
- Partner with Engineering and Product leaders on headcount planning, capacity modeling, and investment prioritization
- Lead analysis of cloud, vendor, and SaaS spend to identify optimization opportunities
- Deliver variance analysis and forward-looking financial insights to support decision-making
- Develop frameworks to support strategic planning around growth, efficiency, and resource allocation
- Improve forecasting accuracy through collaboration with Accounting, Procurement, and business teams
- Leverage AI tools and automation to enhance financial analysis and reporting efficiency
Requirements:
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, including support for SaaS or GTM organizations
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, LTV/CAC, retention, and sales efficiency
- Experience working with executive and VP-level stakeholders
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proficiency with planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights or similar), Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools (Tableau, Domo, Qlik, etc.)
- Familiarity with Salesforce and experience working with operational datasets is a plus
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into business insights
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

- Salary range: $114,300–$165,700 USD (targeting ~$140K–$145K base)
