  • Deliver high-quality technical product expertise and agronomic guidance to support customer success and crop performance.
  • Act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment on customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute annual trial plans to evaluate and position new vegetable varieties within the territory.
  • Provide technical recommendations and practical solutions to customer challenges while keeping leadership informed on market developments.
  • Create and implement sales action plans to achieve territory sales targets, revenue growth, and margin objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to support strategic business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and long-term territory planning activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of crop management and agricultural production practices.
  • Familiarity with the fresh market and/or processing market segments within the vegetable industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the vegetable seed industry or a related agricultural sales environment is preferred.
  • Experience in technical sales, customer relationship management, and territory development.
  • Ability to develop and implement business growth strategies and sales plans effectively.
  • Strong forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 80%) across Ontario and Quebec.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes challenging weather conditions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a territory independently.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from CAD $96,000 to $132,000.
  • Performance-based incentive bonus opportunities.
  • Company vehicle provided for business travel.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement within the assigned territory.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
  • Pension and group retirement savings program with company matching.
  • Profit-sharing opportunities.
  • Annual lifestyle and wellness allowance plus access to wellness resources and programs.
  • Generous vacation policy with up to 30 days of paid vacation.
  • Ongoing learning, professional development, and career growth opportunities.
  • Inclusive and collaborative workplace culture focused on employee wellbeing and development.
