As the Retail Distribution and Salvage Operations Supervisor you would be responsible for supervising all of the aspects of the Retail Transportation System in both Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia by assisting Regional Directors and Store Managers with transportation and distribution of donated and purchased merchandise. This will be done by insuring proper and timely pick-up and delivery of materials from various Goodwill locations. This position will provide leadership and direction to staff, and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote and maintain safety.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

• Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet transportation, operations and production goals.
• Inspect materials, stock, vehicles, equipment, and/or facilities to ensure that they are safe, free of defects.
• Assist with the hiring, training, evaluation, coaching, and the support of the development of employees in logistics operations.
• Drive vehicles or operate machines and/or equipment to complete work assignments.
• Keep staff informed of all Goodwill initiatives, policy changes and updates and other general company information.

Travel Required: Yes, some travel may be required.

External Hiring Range: $32,800 -$66,965/year

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years experience of a combination of trucking/transportation route planning, supervision, materials movement, or similar required.
• Supervisory experience highly preferred.
