Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts - Mental Health and Addiction Recovery
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts to join our compassionate mental health and addiction recovery team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to team members and ensure quality care delivery
- Independently conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of consumers
- Certify psychiatric diagnoses in accordance with professional standards
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans for consumers with mental health conditions
- Advocate for necessary medical or remedial services to reduce disabilities and restore maximum functioning
- Complete all required ongoing staff training via Relias Learning platform
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director
Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician or advanced practice nurse with a psychiatric specialty
- Valid and current license to practice as a healthcare provider in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
