Position Overview

This role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite in McLean, VA.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Engineer based in the Washington, DC area to join our Solutions Development team. In this role, you will partner closely with the Solutions Development team to design, develop, and operationalize innovative, cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and AI ecosystems, a strong engineering foundation across the full stack, and a passion for translating complex business needs into intelligent, scalable tools that drive measurable organizational impact.


Key Responsibilities

• Support the Solutions Development team to design, develop, and operationalize innovative solutions that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our delivery teams

• Translate business requirements from contract delivery and customer stakeholders into scalable, well-architected technical solutions

• Build and extend solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages

• Develop and deploy AI-powered workflows and agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Cognitive Services

• Design and develop interactive, highly usable and intuitive end user-facing solutions based on technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, REST APIs, Node.js, Python

• Manage source code, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, product managers, and UX designers to deliver high-quality, user-centered features

• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices and documentation

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed applications for performance, reliability, and security


Qualifications

Required:

• 4-6 years of professional software development experience in full-stack engineering roles using enterprise application development and lifecycle management tools/technologies

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)

• Proven experience building or extending AI/LLM tools such as Microsoft Copilot solutions and working within Copilot Studio, as well as utilizing the latest developments in solution development tools such as Claude Code, Azure CLI, etc.

• Working knowledge of Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, or Azure Cognitive Services

• Proficiency with GitHub for version control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and CI/CD via GitHub Actions

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks

• Solid back-end development experience with REST API design, Node.js, Python, C#, or equivalent

• Familiarity with cloud architecture principles and Azure infrastructure (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)

• Currently residing in or willing to commute to the Washington, DC metropolitan area


Preferred:

• Experience with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 integrations

• Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), or Dynamics 365 integrations

• Background working in regulated environments such as government/defense

• Prior experience with low-code/no-code platform governance
