About the Role

The Sales Enablement Co-ordinator plays a critical operational, analytical, and enablement role in supporting the effectiveness of OUPSA’s Sales teams across Schools, Higher Education, TVET, Regional and other markets. The role is responsible for the end-to-end coordination, administration, optimisation, and continuous improvement of sales enablement processes, with a strong focus on sales technology (Salesforce and related platforms), training delivery, campaign enablement, policy-driven governance, and business-critical operational processes such as gratis management, e-vendor support, and device enablement. This role will be reporting to the Sales Enablement Manager based in Goodwood, Cape Town.

Opportunity

What you will do:

Sales Enablement Operations & Governance

• Own and manage day‑to‑day sales enablement operational processes aligned to approved policy and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workflows across Sales, Sales Enablement, Operations, Digital Customer Success, Publishing, and Technology teams.
• Ensure enablement processes are documented, updated, approved, and consistently applied.
• Act as a point of continuity and operational memory for enablement processes during peak campaigns and critical business periods.

Sales Technology Administration & Optimisation

• Administer, maintain, and support Salesforce and associated sales technologies (e.g. Calling Card App / CCA and related platforms).
• Act as a first-line support resource for sales technology queries, troubleshooting, and user guidance.
• Support system enhancements by contributing to requirements definition, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment readiness.
• Monitor sales technology adoption and utilisation, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Support ongoing data hygiene and integrity, including institution and contact data where applicable.

Training Enablement & Capability Development

• Design, coordinate, and deliver training (virtual and in‑person) on Salesforce, sales processes, campaign enablement tools, and approved workflows.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive training collateral including user guides, presentations, FAQs, process documents, and short “how‑to” videos.
• Conduct dry‑run sessions with internal stakeholders to ensure training quality and relevance.
• Gather and analyse training feedback to continuously improve effectiveness and user adoption.
• Support both permanent sales teams and Contract Representatives during major campaigns.

Campaign Enablement & Device Management

• Coordinate the operational enablement of sales campaigns, including digital and physical tooling.
• Manage the end‑to‑end process of sales device (e.g. tablets) preparation, testing, tracking, deployment, and return in line with defined procedures.
• Maintain accurate tracking documentation and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Ensure supporting documentation (e.g. disclaimers, receipts, waybills, POs) is complete and auditable.

Gratis Management & Policy Compliance

• Manage the end‑to‑end gratis request process via Salesforce and SAP in line with approved Gratis Policy and internal controls.
• Ensure accurate capture, approval, fulfilment, tracking, reporting, and return management of all gratis.
• Produce regular operational and analytical reports to support decision‑making and policy compliance.
• Work with the Head: Sales Enablement on policy updates, process refinements, and governance improvements.

e-Vendor & External Partner Support

• Act as first point of contact for e‑vendor queries related to sales enablement and digital fulfilment.
• Track, manage and escalate queries within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintain and share up‑to‑date master trackers with relevant stakeholders.
• Support process transition and alignment with customer Success teams where applicable.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Compile, analyse, and present operational and enablement data to support sales performance and strategic decision‑making.
• Deliver standard and ad‑hoc reports related to sales technology usage, training, campaigns, gratis, and enablement effectiveness.
• Continuously improve reporting quality, relevance, and insight.

End-to-end P/O administration

• PO creation and management to final delivery
• Raising of non-stock POs for courier parcels
• Ad-hoc parcel administration tasks.

General

• Assist the Head of Sales Enablement and Sales Enablement team with general business critical tasks and periods.

About you

  • Matric (essential)
  • A relevant diploma or equivalent (NQF 5) qualification in Business, Sales or Marketing (advantageous)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales enablement/operations support
  • 2-3 years’ experience in managing customer relationships and CRM systems. (Salesforce experience advantageous)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in creating and managing customer success processes and resources
  • 2-3 years’ experience in developing training content, and conducting training on sales tech tools and digital platforms advantageous
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects
  • Knowledge of the South African Schools, HE & TVET markets advantageous
