In this role, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating cybersecurity assurance and audit activities across multiple compliance programs, ensuring controls are validated and properly documented in line with internal policies and external standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute security control testing and validation activities across multiple compliance frameworks and deadlines
- Support end-to-end audit execution, including documentation, evidence collection, and control effectiveness assessments
- Collaborate with system owners, engineers, and administrators to ensure consistent and repeatable security control processes
- Track, manage, and report on remediation activities for identified control deficiencies and process gaps
- Engage with internal and external auditors to support compliance reviews and regulatory assessments
- Identify inefficiencies in audit and compliance processes and recommend improvements to strengthen governance
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on security policies, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Monitor progress of audit cycles, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting of results
This role requires strong experience in cybersecurity auditing, compliance validation, and security control frameworks, along with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in audit controls validation or compliance testing (e.g., SOC 1/2, PCI, ISO, HIPAA, SOX, CMMC or similar frameworks)
- Strong understanding of information security controls, risk management, and compliance methodologies
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to audit-ready detail and traceability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and compliance programs simultaneously
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or GSEC (or willingness to pursue)
