You will lead the design and evolution of cloud-native platforms that enable secure, reliable, and highly available services in a fast-growing technology environment. Working closely with engineering, machine learning, data, and security teams, you will influence technical strategy while improving developer productivity and operational excellence. This role offers significant ownership over platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, and reliability practices. As a senior technical leader, you will define and enhance cloud infrastructure, platform capabilities, and engineering practices that support scalable AI applications. You will collaborate across multiple teams to improve reliability, security, observability, and developer experience while ensuring systems remain resilient, compliant, and ready for continued growth.

• Define and influence the technical direction of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives.
• Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure across AWS services, Kubernetes, container platforms, serverless technologies, virtual machines, and data services.
• Partner with engineering, machine learning, data, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
• Develop infrastructure strategies, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Strengthen networking, identity management, and access control across cloud environments.
• Improve platform reliability through SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, monitoring, and incident management practices.
• Lead blameless post-incident reviews and implement long-term operational improvements.
• Drive observability initiatives covering logging, metrics, tracing, and system health monitoring.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, technical guidance, and best practices for reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Enhance developer experience by improving CI/CD pipelines, automation, tooling, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with compliance and security stakeholders to support regulated infrastructure requirements.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience designing and operating modern cloud infrastructure in production environments, combined with strong technical leadership, automation expertise, and a passion for building reliable platforms.

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud-native software engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS (preferred) and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong programming or scripting skills, with Python preferred.
• Extensive experience building infrastructure automation and internal engineering tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar platforms.
• Strong Linux, networking, and systems troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives from design through deployment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and delivery timelines.
• Experience with observability platforms, monitoring solutions, and operational best practices is highly valued.
• Familiarity with regulated environments, healthcare compliance, machine learning infrastructure, or internal developer platforms is considered an advantage.

• Competitive annual base salary of $175,000–$230,000, depending on experience and location.
