Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for a charter school in North Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will inspire students to strengthen their reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards for high school ELA.
- Teach literature, informational texts, writing, grammar, and research skills.
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Assess student progress and use results to guide instruction.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
- Communicate with families and collaborate with school staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Florida educator certification in English (Grades 6–12), or eligibility for the appropriate certification.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience teaching high school students preferred.
