· Supporting technical troubleshooting and risk analysis activities

This position is well suited to someone who is a proactive and technically capable engineer, enjoys hands-on development work and problem solving within a fast-paced engineering environment.

The role is primarily based at our Haydock site and involves a combination of office, laboratory and manufacturing shop floor activities.

You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Assurance and Technical Services teams as part of a wider product development environment.

Limited travel may occasionally be required.

Essential:

· Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering/scientific discipline

· Minimum 5 years’ experience within product design and development

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently

· Detail-oriented and solutions-focused approach

We’d also particularly welcome experience in:

· Experience taking products from concept development through to production readiness

· Strong understanding of engineering drawings and 3D CAD modelling

· Experience with PPE or RPE products and standards

· SolidWorks experience

· Understanding of ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environments

· Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI/NPD) processes

· Experience supporting manufacturing or tooling development
