The Role:

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to oversee all purchasing, receiving, inventory, and storeroom operations for our restaurant. This role is critical in supporting daily operations by ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy, cost control, and strong vendor relationships. The Purchasing Manager will work closely with Finance, Culinary, Beverage, and Operations teams to maintain company standards and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee all purchasing, receiving, inventory, and storeroom operations.
• Manage purchasing budgets and support operational financial goals.
• Maintain purchasing systems, pricing, vendor records, and supplier information.
• Ensure inventory controls, receiving procedures, and storeroom organization comply with company standards.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate invoice processing and timely payments.
• Source vendors and negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate par stocks while minimizing waste.
• Ensure all purchase orders, deliveries, and receiving documentation are accurate and properly approved.
• Coordinate food, beverage, liquor, beer, and wine orders as needed.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly inventories of food, beverage, equipment, and supplies.
• Support departments with purchasing requests and operational supply needs.
• Ensure all storage areas remain clean, organized, and secure.
• Assist with licenses, renewals, branded purchasing, and administrative purchasing duties.
• Promote professionalism, teamwork, and operational improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous purchasing, inventory, warehouse, hospitality, or restaurant operations experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of inventory systems, invoices, and reconciliation processes preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
