The Manager of the Agency Talent Acquisition - Market Management Enterprise Strategy team is a leader accountable for defining, leading, and executing the company’s enterprise-wide agency strategic vision and roadmap. This role directs a high-performing strategy team that partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement transformative strategies that drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the Enterprise Strategy function.
- Own the end-to-end enterprise strategic planning process, ensuring alignment of strategies with corporate mission, strategies and key initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination across multiple business units and corporate functions to ensure cohesive execution of enterprise priorities.
- Oversee comprehensive market intelligence, competitive analysis, economic and regulatory landscape assessments, and scenario planning to anticipate risks and identify growth opportunities at the enterprise level.
- Integrate quantitative analytics with qualitative insights to develop actionable, data-driven recommendations and strategic roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of innovation, strategic agility, continuous learning, and high performance within the strategy team and across the enterprise.
- Mentor, develop, and retain top talent within the strategy organization, building bench strength and succession pipelines.
- Establish metrics and governance to monitor the impact and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability and agility in course correction.
- Ensure all strategic activities adhere to corporate governance, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing analytical or strategic teams in a fast-paced, complex business environment, ideally within agency recruiting, sales strategy, or market development functions.
- Proven success influencing and driving enterprise-scale strategic transformations and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adept at building trust, aligning stakeholders, and leading high-impact discussions across all organizational levels.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance strategic decision-making.
- Experienced leader and talent developer, with a focus on fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented team culture.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, leading change, and driving results in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Our Benefits
Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
- Potential starting salary range: $137,000 - $179,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary
