This project-based role is focused on building and maintaining a scalable, reliable email marketing infrastructure using GoHighLevel. You will take ownership of domain warm-up, sender reputation, deliverability, CRM integration, and high-volume campaign execution. The role combines technical email expertise with hands-on campaign management and optimization. You will configure authentication systems, troubleshoot delivery issues, and ensure marketing communications reach the right audiences consistently. Working independently, you will manage the full project scope from implementation through testing, reporting, and recommendations. This is a remote opportunity suited to an organized specialist who can deliver a fixed-scope project with minimal supervision.
- Develop and execute domain and mailbox warm-up strategies to establish and maintain strong sender reputation.
- Configure and monitor email authentication protocols, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, and SMTP-related settings.
- Manage high-volume email sending while protecting deliverability and sender reputation.
- Monitor bounce rates, spam complaints, engagement, deliverability, and other key email performance indicators.
- Independently troubleshoot technical issues involving email delivery, authentication, CRM integrations, and campaigns.
- Set up and manage GoHighLevel email campaigns, workflows, automations, and sequences.
- Integrate and maintain CRM data to support accurate contact management, segmentation, and campaign targeting.
- Manage email lists, suppression lists, segmentation, and engagement-based targeting.
- Test and optimize subject lines, email content, sending schedules, audience segments, and campaign configurations.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide reporting and actionable recommendations for improving results.
- Execute the full agreed project scope independently, maintaining clear communication and delivering against the proposed timeline.
- Identify project risks, limitations, dependencies, and assumptions and communicate them clearly throughout delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist, Email Deliverability Specialist, or in a comparable email operations role.
- Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) and CRM or email marketing automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of domain and mailbox warm-up, sender reputation, and email deliverability management.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume email sending and optimizing deliverability.
- Strong technical knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, SMTP, and email authentication.
- Experience integrating email platforms with CRMs and marketing automation systems.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical email delivery, authentication, CRM, and campaign issues.
- Strong understanding of email marketing metrics, testing, optimization, and performance analysis.
- Experience with email list hygiene, segmentation, suppression management, and compliance best practices.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage email operations reliably at scale.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a fixed-scope project with limited supervision.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant and comparable email marketing, deliverability, or GoHighLevel work.
- Ability to submit an RFQ outlining the proposed approach, scope, inclusions and exclusions, estimated timeline and hours, total cost, additional or recurring costs, required resources, risks, limitations, and assumptions.
- Willingness to sign an NDA and Project Agreement before receiving full project details and credentials.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
Benefits:
- Remote, project-based contractor opportunity.
- Fixed-scope engagement with a salary/project budget of $1,000–$1,200.
- Self-directed execution of the full project scope.
- Flexibility to propose your own project timeline and estimated hours.
- Limited meetings, with touchpoints and check-ins only as needed to review progress.
- Opportunity to take ownership of email infrastructure, deliverability, CRM integration, and campaign execution.
- Exposure to international, multicultural teams and global business operations.
- Fully remote working environment designed around autonomy, flexibility, and trust.
- Opportunity to work on a technically focused email marketing project with high-volume sending requirements.
