• Multitask on cashier, sales, and merchandising responsibilities
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns
• Create a positive, inviting environment for customers
• Understand and use basic selling skills to engage and present solutions
• Handle returns and online pick-ups
• Assist with receiving, staging, organizing, and moving merchandise and packages to support daily store operations
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and carts, following established safety procedures and training
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe stockroom and staging areas to support efficient store operations
• Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail to meet operational and customer service expectations
• Be flexible on responsibilities (e.g., cleaning, stocking shelves, other duties as assigned)

• Able to work on a flexible schedule based on the stores needs
• Must be able to and want to engage with customers and understand their needs
• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move merchandise, packages, and operational materials using proper lifting techniques. Team lifting or mechanical assistance may be required based on the size or weight of the item.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and other approved materials handling equipment to receive, stage, transport, and organize merchandise and packages.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, twisting, squatting, and lifting while completing operational responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet operational timelines in a fast-paced retail environment
• Preferred but not required: customer service or cashier experience in a retail environment
