Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Execute breakfast and lunch service efficiently while maintaining food quality and consistency.
• Demonstrate proficiency in breakfast cookery, including multiple egg preparations.
• Manage multiple orders and stations effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Complete daily preparation, station setup, breakdown, and closing responsibilities.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas to company standards.
• Work collaboratively with culinary leadership and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.
• Minimize food waste through proper preparation, portion control, and product handling.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a high-volume café, restaurant, or breakfast-focused kitchen.
• Strong breakfast cooking experience, including proficiency in preparing eggs in multiple styles.
• Proficient knife skills and knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification or equivalent required; ServSafe Manager certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure during busy service periods.
• Dependable, responsible, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
