We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will serve as a liaison between clients and customers by processing customers' orders for clients' products, handling inquiries, resolving complaints and problems, and communicating with the Sales Development Management Teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately and efficiently processes orders for clients' goods, using a computerized order processing system: completes order forms, updates files, enters promotions, and adjusts and invoices orders according to clients' instructions (price discrepancies, post-month changes, quantity changes due to mis-shipments, etc.).
  • Responds to client, customer, and internal inquiries re: promotions, orders, and service; confirms orders and pricing; tracks deliveries.
  • Efficiently and effectively resolves trade deductions and credit issues (working with Sales Development Management Teams as necessary); maintains accurate and current deduction records.
  • Prepares timely and accurate sales reports on a weekly, monthly, and "on-demand" basis.
  • Keeps Sales Development Management Teams fully informed of all appropriate matters, problems, issues, complaints, etc.
  • Assists with related special projects and additional administrative tasks as required.
  • Establishes professional and frequent lines of communication with clients, supervisors, associates, and customers and elevates issues and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Participates in training and development programs to improve communication, organization, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Is a "team player"; is honest and forthright with all parties; works well with peers; trains and develops subordinates; adheres in all respects to the Code of Business Conduct.

Requirements:

What We're Looking for

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Comfortable using standard office technology and learning new software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with order processing and follow-up in an office environment is required.
  • Previous experience or familiarity with the consumer products, food/non-food, retail, or wholesale industries is preferred but not required.
