We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounting and Compliance Associate to serve as a key link between Accounting, Operations, Management, and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who excels at coordination, communication, and follow-through, ensuring critical deadlines are met, reporting is delivered accurately and on time, and teams remain accountable. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and confident navigating competing priorities while helping drive operational efficiency and supporting the organization’s continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage follow-ups, the delivery of operational reporting (not necessarily the preparation), and the overall satisfaction of our operations staff and Management as the go-between of accounting and external and internal parties.
- With high organization and relentless follow-through, complete and ensure completion of a variety of accounting and compliance deadlines and tasks, following-up with among others busy executives in an effective way.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate entries.
- Accurately input, update, and reconcile financial data in accounting systems while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and organization.
- Contribute to internal audits by organizing and providing necessary financial data and ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with and eventually perform treasury tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred.
- Experience with compliance, treasury, finance, billing, payroll, legal or related administrative experience preferred.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial data.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative, adapt to new tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Confident in navigating difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
