About the Role
We are looking for a creative and energetic Content Creator to join the StockUp team. You will be responsible for producing fast, engaging, platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms. You'll work closely with the marketing team to capture products, moments, and brand stories in a way that drives views, engagement, and community growth.
Responsibilities
- Film, edit, and publish short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and Facebook
- Create content that is on-trend, fast-paced, and optimized for each platform's algorithm
- Develop hooks, captions, and calls-to-action that drive comments, shares, and saves
- Produce product content, lifestyle content, and behind-the-scenes footage
- Stay current with trending sounds, formats, and viral content strategies
- Monitor content performance and adjust strategy based on engagement metrics
- Collaborate with the marketing team on weekly content calendars and campaign needs
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and visual style across all platforms
- Present content concepts and revisions clearly to the team, incorporating feedback efficiently
- Maintain organized, labeled content files and asset libraries
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements
- Experience creating TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, Stories, and other short-form social media content
- Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing software
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools
- Strong understanding of social media trends, viral content formats, platform algorithms, and audience engagement strategies
- Ability to film, edit, and publish high-quality content quickly and independently
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating lifestyle and product-focused content
- Creative eye for storytelling, branding, and visually engaging content
- Ability to analyze basic performance metrics including reach, retention, engagement rate, and watch time to improve future content
- Basic photography and product photography skills are a plus
- Strong communication, writing, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles with a strong interest in growing within digital marketing and content strategy
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- A portfolio, social media account, or examples of your content is required to be considered
AI & Technology Tools
Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools to speed up content production, enhance creativity, and stay ahead of platform trends. Experience with the following is expected or strongly preferred:
- CapCut AI — AI auto-captions, smart cut, effects, and templates for fast social content
- ChatGPT / Claude — Content ideation, caption writing, scripting, and trend research
- TikTok Symphony / Creative Center — TikTok's native AI tools for trend insights, script generation, and ad creative
- Canva AI — Magic Write, Magic Design, and AI image generation for graphics and thumbnails
- Adobe Firefly — AI-powered image generation and editing within Adobe tools
- Higgsfield or similar — AI video generation tools for UGC-style content and creative campaigns (a plus)
- ElevenLabs or similar — AI voiceover generation for content that requires narration (a plus)
