About the Role:
The Lead Videographer at The Whitaker Group HQ will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual storytelling and multimedia content strategy within the securities and financial investments sector. This position is responsible for conceptualizing, directing, and producing high-quality video content that effectively communicates complex financial concepts to diverse audiences, including clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. The Lead Videographer will oversee all phases of video production, from pre-production planning and scripting to filming, editing, and final delivery, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and compliance standards. Collaboration with marketing, communications, and compliance departments is essential to create engaging and accurate content that supports business objectives and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this role drives the enhancement of the company’s digital presence and client engagement through innovative and impactful video media solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in videography or video production, preferably within the financial services or related regulated industries.
- Proficiency with professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to financial industry communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a creative team or managing video production projects in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software such as After Effects.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and content management systems.
- Certification or training in financial services compliance or communications.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into clear, engaging visual content.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end video production process including concept development, storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, compliance, and executive teams to develop video content that aligns with corporate messaging and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage and mentor a team of videographers and multimedia specialists to ensure consistent quality and creativity across all projects.
- Maintain and operate video equipment, ensuring technical excellence and innovation in all productions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging video technologies to continuously improve content quality and delivery methods.
- Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for video projects to meet deadlines and business goals.
- Review and approve final video content to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with financial industry standards.
