Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Warehouse Associate for the NE Calgary, Alberta Location

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Ship, receive, pick, restock, return, cycle count, and put-away along with the other warehouse team members.
  • Prioritize customer experience, ensuring customers are addressed quickly and professionally.
  • Participate in all training and certification as required.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse, notify supervisors when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Inspect and operate designated equipment and facilities in the warehouse (forklifts, order pickers, racking, etc.)
  • Be a leader in safety, participating in training and ensuring compliance in all health and safety procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Assets:

  • Receiving experience
  • Forklift certification.
  • Fall arrest certification
  • Order picker certification.
  • Transport of Dangerous Goods certification.
  • WHMIS certification.
  • Experience in shipping, order picking, cycle counting, etc.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience with AS400 or inventory management systems is an asset.

  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Ability to work long hours standing, for a full 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift up to a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
