Responsibilities

Under general supervision, fabricates, cuts, and brazes pipes based on general specifications to carry refrigerants.

• Fabricates pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures.
• Ensures proper placement and alignment according to general blueprints and instructions.
• Brazes fabricated pipes to make the specified product work as designed.
• Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of brazing.
• Able to look at a general diagram and determine fabrication needs to make product work as engineered.
• Requires knowledge of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.
• Able to determine required equipment and settings.
• Requires precision control and dexterity.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
