RN, Nurse Educator in Goshen, Indiana at Goshen Health

Position Summary

Assumes the responsibility for educating nursing staff and enhancing the clinical care provided to the oncologic patient population through evaluating patient care practices and empowering staff to practice in an efficient, autonomous manner, associated with their perspective license and/or certification. The Nurse Educator favorably impacts patient outcomes through providing consultation to staff on patient care modalities, assisting staff to utilize evidence-based practice, contributing to patient education. Participate in the evaluation of new techniques and processes regarding quality of care, efficacy, and professional development in alignment with the mission of Goshen Health.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education Bachelors degree in nursing. Licensure as registered nurse in Indiana. CPR certification
• Preferred Education Certification in specialty
• Minimum Experience 5 years of nursing experience
• Certifications Required: OCN
