Job Description

Job purpose

The Treatment Liaison acts as the primary liaison between clients, providers, and the legal team to ensure efficient and compassionate coordination of care. This role supports the firm’s mission of providing seamless case management by facilitating communication, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely access to medical and service providers for clients.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve as a bilingual liaison between clients, case managers, and providers to ensure clear communication and understanding of care plans.
  • Locate and coordinate with vendors or providers near the client’s location to arrange necessary services and treatments.
  • Initiate and track care continuity through provider coordination and related services in accordance with firm guidelines.
  • Ensure map of providers is consistently updated and maintain provider databases.
  • Escalate provider-related care concerns promptly to the Case Manager.
  • Identify and report care gaps in treatment to the attorney responsible for the case.
  • Coordinate appointments and follow-ups between clients and providers, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Reconcile intake case data for accuracy and completeness within the firm’s case management systems.
  • Maintain high attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and communication records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and empathetic support to clients throughout their recovery and case process.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Case Management Software to track, report, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

· Education: High school diploma or GED

· Experience:

  • 2+ years of law firm experience preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Special Knowledge: Bilingual preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with Smart Advocate and Westlaw a plus
  • Attributes: This position requires excellent organization and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
