Senior Configuration Manager in Haymarket, Virginia at QBE Federal

On a classified intelligence program, the right version of the right document has to be there every time. QBE is looking for a Senior Configuration Manager to protect the integrity of Scalable GEOINT project artifacts and technical documents at Fort Gordon, GA. Using version control and CMDB tools, you'll run the enterprise document and configuration management systems that keep content accurate, secure and easy to find.

What you will do

• Implement and run enterprise document management systems and procedures that capture, store, retrieve, share and destroy electronic records.
• Shape document management policies that make access to electronic content efficient, legal and secure.
• Help build classification taxonomies that make information easy to capture, search and retrieve.
• Partner with other IT specialists to implement document processing, retrieval and distribution systems.
• Identify and classify documents and content by security level, function and metadata.
• Develop and maintain the standards, best practices and usage procedures the team works by.

What you bring
Must have:

• 7–10+ years of experience in configuration or document management.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with configuration management principles, version control systems (for example Git), and CMDB software.
• Cyber certification: DoWM 8140.03 baseline certification and CE certification before privileged access.
