Job Description

Join the Alive and Well Pharmacy Team

Our pharmacy is a growing compounding practice focused on delivering personalized, high-quality medications to patients across Texas and several additional states. Our environment is collaborative, patient-centered, and provides an all-encompassing wellness ecosystem.

As we continue expanding our compounding capabilities, we're looking for an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to help launch and lead our sterile laboratory from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on developing clinical workflows, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while working alongside a close-knit, supportive team.

  • Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays

  • No controlled substance (C-II) dispensing

  • Primarily cash-pay patient population

  • Collaborative, wellness-focused pharmacy team

  • Opportunity to help build and develop a brand-new sterile compounding department

  • Ability to influence clinical operations, workflow, quality systems, and regulatory compliance

Position Summary

The Sterile Compounding Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sterile compounding operations while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

This role includes pharmacist verification, sterile formulation review, batch release, quality assurance oversight, environmental monitoring, personnel training, and compliance with USP <797>, applicable state regulations, and federal standards. The pharmacist will work closely with pharmacy leadership and technicians to establish best practices and develop a robust sterile compounding program.
